CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP

Corporate Membership is open to broadcasting organisations and organisations which provide a cable programme service and are registered with the Singapore Broadcasting Authority. All Corporate Members shall have only one vote and shall appoint one representative above 18 years of age who shall have the right to vote and hold office in the Society.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP

Associate Membership is open to organisations having a professional connection with broadcasting and which do not qualify for Corporate Membership but wish to have an association with the Society.

Broadcasting-related organisations may apply for Associate Membership provided :

a) they are production/post production houses
b) they are internet service providers
c) they are satellite uplink/downlink providers
d) they are satellite broadcasters (not based in Singapore)
e) they are suppliers of broadcast equipment
f) they are otherwise in a related field as determined by the Committee.

Associate members shall be required to pay the entrance fee and annual subscription fee, but shall have no voting rights. Associate members shall appoint one representative above 18 years of age, but such representative shall not be entitled to hold office in the Society or be appointed to the Committee.

Associates members shall be invited to attend the Annual General Meeting as observer organisations and to attend the social functions associated with the Association. They may be invited to attend other Society meetings, functions and activities from time to time at the discretion of the President of the Committee. However, they shall not enjoy any of the privileges of Corporate Membership.
